What about on a Squier Tele Custom II? It is not a standard tele bridge.

I've used Bullets on string through guitars without trems in the past. The only reason I don't now is because Bullets cost more than regular strings. I don't think there is any particular advantage to using them on non-trem equpiied guitars unless you want to use the same type string for all of your guitars. Some people will say that Bullets offer no real advantage on trem equipped guitars.

I just put them on my Strat and Tele last week. They sound great and fit the string thru bodies perfectly. I'm guessing that Fender markets the bullet ends for the string thru bodies and the round ends for the other bridge styles -Jazzmaster etc.

Bullets were designed for use in trem systems. The bullet end is claimed to fit better within the trem block and not hang up in the hole when using the trem like regular ball end strings can sometimes do.
