Hi all just wanted to share.

I picked up my Fender Select Tele / Gold Hardware had to sell 2 amps and 4 guitars to get it and it was worth every penny I spent.

I just got home from work ( 12:30am ) so I can not play it on my tube amps but this weeken I will do a full review and post on you tube.

Sorry for a short post but just so happy !!!!!

leesops,

The vid I'm sure doesn't do it justice so a couple of snaps put up here on the forum would be nice!! But it looks like it's beautiful.

The screws on the bridge are for height adjustment to keep the proper radius of the strings over the neck. So they can be bothersome but don't file them down or anything like that!

Sounds and looks like you'll have years of enjoyment with that Tele.

Congrats. :)

tyronne

I talked to a guitar Tech. and he said almost the same thing you did. So I'll leave it alone I just don't remember any of the other Tele's I owned being like that.

Okay here is a song I did with the Tele and a Peavey 6534+ Krank 4x12.

I know the amp is not the best for clean playing but I think it sounded good with the gain kicked in.

Well let me know what you all think and Plz. no posting on my playing okay I know am not that good but it's the best I can do with my hand being jacked up.

Use a good headphones or speakers

Keep in mind they also alter the string height as well as matching the radius of the neck so it's possible your other teles had higher action. Or they used shorter screws!
