Hi everyone,

I've got a Classic 50`s Tele body at home, that I got a new neck for. The depth of the neck pocket of the body is about 0.6"

The new neck is about 1" high, so that the top of the neck is about 0.4" above the body.

That is unfortunately too high for the Wilkinson standard bridge. I cannot set the instrument in any way without the strings bearing on the fretboard.

Is the neck pocket more flat than standard? Or is the neck higher than standard? Or does the Wilkinson standard bridge just not fit the guitar?

Thanks for your help!

Standard neck , you mean American made by Fender ?

And Classic '50 body is it American made or mexican , or japan ? I don't think you can mix parts

My two American made Tele have neck less than 1 inches high ( 30/32 and 31/31 inche )
and 9 to 10/32 inche above the body.
