Hey guys,

I have come to the realisation that teles are really my thing, but for a while now i havent really been getting the sound out of my hrd that i wanted

I was always trying to get that gainy fender tone but with plenty of twang. I tried it with pedal, volume and of course my playing style but at the end of the day, it was time to upgrade the amp.

After much deliberation i ended up with a mesa boogie mark v, that tweed channel was so on the money for what i wanted its not funny. It really is the sound i was looking for. Add the fact that it also two other gain channels (which are also amazing), it really is my perfect amp. I do wish i had a chance to test drive a fender sonic but after hearing this amp, i doubt i could have been swayed.

*EDIT* I forgot to say, to afford this bad boy I had to trade in a guitar and my Hot Rod Deluxe.... I traded my am std strat.... the teles played and sounded better.

Anyway heres a pic with my two teles.

I have a black Telecaster Standard that I play through my Fender Princeton Chorus or my Peavey XXL. I can get whatever sound I'm after pretty much.

You cannot go wrong with a Mark V (or any Mesa amp for that matter).

Good choice. I love my Roadster.

When you find a certain sound your after, you've got to write it down. I can barely remember the song let alone the settings! :D

How much does your mesa boogie, weigh? I had a mark iii combo that tipped the scales at 67lbs. The transformers were as big as grapefruit.
