Just bought, and love. But would love to have the "Greasebucket" tone control. Anyone know about how to buy and install?

Thanks

From what I see you want rolling off the treble without overpowering your sound with excessive lows.

Thanks Chromeface, Yes that is what I seek. I recently played on an American Special Telecaster that had the "Greasebucket Tone Control" and am wanting to change my recent FSR to include. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Greasebucket schematic is on page 2 and parts list is on page 3. I use an Orange Drop for the 0.02 (actually 0.022 mfd) and a Mallory 150-type for the 0.1 mfd cap instead of the cheap ceramic discs. Get the 400 volt rated caps and they will fit fine with some careful positioning of the components.

I have installed the Greasebucket on both my Strat and my AVRI 52 Tele and will not change back to stock.

Just my $0.02, I would suggest holding off on the changes to your guitar for a year or so so you become fully acquainted with the guitar. This will allow time for any proposed mods to be fully thought out.
