Just started disassembling my latest snag to see what I actual bought (fun stuff). Nice so far, but I'm stumped on Telecaster bridge pickup...who knows what this is?

The pole pieces are also of the beveled type. Sorry for the bad pic of the topside.

It is a generic, economy import.

+1. Cheap ceramic pickup worth about $5.00.

I guess that's why it sounds flat across board. Fortunately it mixes well with the neck pickup. It'll stay for now.

Sure thing. I am in process of cleaning out the neck pocket of excess paint and preparing to make a slight shim. The body I'm guessing is a Mexican, it has one of those barcode stickers in the bridge route that starts with an "m", not really sure if that is proof of origin though, there was a stamping in the neck pocket which was hard to read, but for sure started with a 5 (i took pic for reference). The neck is a 90's era '62 reissue, which is really why I bought this Tele. I love 7.25" radius necks!
