For the short time I had my far telecaster , most of all
I loved the neck on it, I wanted that neck but without noiseless
Pickup, I wanted more vintagey vibe.
I thought well the baja telecaster is a little more than i wanna
spend, but I think that'll be my best bet.

A very endearing guitar mate. I'm wholly in love with mine. Well worth changing the saddles on it though. I couldn't deal with the intonation being so far off cos of the brass barrels. Mine ended up with a Joe Barden bridge that seems to be great. Though I understand Allparts will sell just the saddles.
Be careful about the fretwork too. Mine was a bit off but a couple of minutes with a fretstone sorted it.
Awesome now

Lol,
Thanks nik, I had similar saddles when I had the other telecaster
And began to have intonation issues.

Put your fingers down your throat, throw up all over the desk, cry off work!

Some things are more important.

Sounds fantastic, I don't really like the
S1 switch tones for some reason.
But awesome overall

I didnt know that bajas came in that blonde finish. I always thought they were black or the highway one blown colour. That looks killer! I hear the pickups on tge bajas are a little hotter than normal? How do u find the bluesstrattone (or if you're like me itll be bluesteletone soon ;))

im very impressed on the tone i get off of the twisted tele neck. it sounds vintagy, woody
smooth high end, very nice low end. reminds me of my friends 81 gibson es 335 neck pickup,(PAF) and made a single coil to my ear ofcourse.
and the broadcaster bridge sounds twangy, but fat when pushed. i expected to have to use my tone controls to tame the highs with cleans, nope. sounds great.

now, with ts808 it sounds awesome.

put it in short. it sings country, it cries blues, and it f*&()*n RAWKS!!!!!

Congrats and you made an excellent choice. I bought one of the first production Bajas in 2006. It almost jumped off the pages of a Guitar Center catalog into my hands. Those pickups and specs in an MIM Tele? Sign me up. :)

Still rocking the mid-boost Tele, too? Telecaster GAS is a powerful force.

The 2-Color Sunburst and Black Bajas are recent additions. The original finish choices were Blonde and Desert Sand. Desert Sand was the perfect choice for me since I'm a desert dweller. :)
