So I have decided that the guitar I want is the 72 Thinline but i have a question about the finishes. On the Fender website, there is only the natural and 3-tone sunburst finishes but on GuitarCenter.com, there is another 2-tone finish but is $140 more expensive. Why is this? Is that finish a Guitar Center exclusive or what? Very disappointed because that's the one I want but not for $140 more. :(

Oh, and if anyone can post a better pic of the 3-tone than the one on guitarcenter.com, that would be greatly appreciated. The one there is very crappy and I want to get a feel on what it really looks like.

The 2-tone burst '72 Thinline is a Factory Special Run.

Dang. That really sucks. But if I really want it I guess I will have to fork over the cash. :/

Nice guitars, wide range 'buckers, but not mine.

I have the 2 tone Sunburst. I didn't pay that much but I guess it got more popular and the price went up. I got the pearl pickguard on mine then changed it to black.
