Hey everybody. First post here.

I have a 2009 MIM telecaster in surf green and a blues jr that is also surf green.
I called Fender and they told me it was special run set (250 made of each) sent to fender dealers.

Both are in mint condition. the blues jr. has a cover.

Can anyone tell me what the value of this set is, and what how it will appreciate in the years to come? I'm thinking about trading it for a JCM800 half stack, but i'll hang onto it if it will have some real value someday...

Thanks,
Sam

If only a Blues Jr. sounded any good. I bought my dad one and it sounds like trash ... no excuse for it.

I would keep it, I like surf green color and you don't see many Teles in that color.

If I were you my friend here is what I would do :D

First, change out the tubes to JJ tubes. That will take out that harsh top end brittle sound the JNR's have.

Then leave it all alone and keep it for a good 25 years at least.

I think they will value well given the limited run on them and are historically unique in my opinion.

Mostly appreciated by muso's is a good roadworn surf green axe and amp.

Can you Imagine!! $$

Cheers.
