My father has mostly been a Telecaster player as far back as I can remember. He had a cream colored Tele with a Bigsby, a thinline, a Gibson Les Paul Recording, a Black Tele Custom, two G&L Broadcasters, a 50th Anniversary Strat, and currently, a '72 Tele Thinline reissue. But I'd like to talk about his '76 Tele custom. This axe had the six-saddle bridge and the three bolt Micro-Tilt neckplate. he changed out the original "F" tuners with Schaller die-cast minis and repainted the pickguard white.

I wish I could. It's been over 26 years since he had the '76 Tele, nearly 30 since the LP Recording Model, and 35 years since the Cream Bigsby Tele. Picture the '72 reissue Telecaster with a six saddle bridge and the word "Custom" in Arial, rather than script lettering.
