There she is, my first Tele, the Blacktop Baritone in Ghost Silver. This thing is absolutely beautiful in person, plays like butter, and sounds like pretty much anything I want it to. It's easily the most versatile guitar I've ever owned, that can go from the hard rock and metal I normally play to reggae, country, or post-glam speed folk. Well, maybe not that last one. Either way, Kudos Fender, for putting out such an amazing guitar!

Congratulations on the new Telecaster which is by far in my opinion the most comfortable guitar ever made. Happy new guitar day! :D

By far . . . I am a tad bit jealous! I love the colors all the way down to the fret board to the pick gaurd. Great color schemes man!

Seriously, I am very happy for you. I wish the best in your playing this beautiful instrument!

Happy NGD !!!!!!!!!

I have a normal blacktop in silver with a maple neck an excellent guitar never played a baritone tele. Enjoy yours.

Be warned though, one will lead to two, then three, then four etc etc etc

Thanks for the replies, guys! And it's definitely true...I've had it for about two weeks now, and it's quickly become my main guitar. I envision more will be on the horizon...I'm looking at you, Jim Root Tele. In the meantime, here's a song my brother and I recorded, all guitar parts are the Tele:

Sweet and unique looking guitar. Love the color.

Can you tap the HB to get a bridge Tele single coil sound? It might be a mod you might consider having done. That and adding pre-amp. Just an idea.

Nope, the bridge pickup can't be tapped (yet), but those are definitely some sweet ideas...a pre-amp would be just the thing to give it that extra kick through my Marshall head when I'm playing the heavier stuff I do. 8)

This is a new song I recorded on the Tele today...I figured rather than make a new thread for it, I'd just throw it in here:

Guys, I'm a little late to the tread but just picked up a beautiful sunburst Blacktop Baritone Tele and love it. I have a Baja Tele but enjoy the body relief on the new Blacktop and it weighs less too. Love the sound from the baritone and it is now one of my favorites to play. I am having a little problem keeping it in tune and especially with the intonation on the low B string. The slider on the low B is about as far back as it will go. Have any of you other baritone owners had tuning problems?

Love the guitar!!!!
