I want to put a bridge on my tele that has 6 individual saddles instead of the original one thats on it. I went to Guitar Center and all they had was a bridge made by a company called Hipshot. Does anyone know if these are quality parts? I've never heard of Hipshot and they charged me $110.00 for the bridge so of course the guy at GC is gonna say it's a good bridge but was wondering if anyone here is familiar with Hipshot patrs. Thanks in advance guys for any input.

Hipshot is great gear, but, in my opinion, you can go a lot cheaper, and get great results.
I would look at allparts or even Ebay, for a standard 6 saddle tele bridge. I Made in Mexico bridges for like $15, and american standard bridges for under $50.

I have a Hipshot Tremsetter in my Strat Ultra, and it works pretty well. The strings just don't go out of tune with tremelo use. Of course, it also has a set of Schaller locking tuners, which has to help. I adjusted the 2-point tremelo recently, so it has more movement, and for a 22 year old guitar, its got longevity.
