I have a natural Japanese, a black 69, and a sunburst 72. For some reason, I love everything about thinlines. Moochy13's, with the Bigsby and P90s is simply one of the most beautiful guitars anywhere. Thanks for the pictures!

I have owned the two MIM Reissues... the '72

and the '69

but ended up swapping them for other guitars. I miss the '69.

I couldn't resist buying a new Modern Player Thinline during the holiday sales. It's different with the MP90 pickups but I like the tonal differences so far.

I'm really GASing for the new Select Thinline. That one's going to be hard to resist.

Awesome, very similar to my dream guitar, which would be almost exactly the same, except Mary Kay white, with modern hardware.

Hi Im also suffering from cruel GAS regarding the Fender Select Thinline…
especially after seeing this demo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgNCStGl704

I am really considering trading my Gretsch 5120 of…even though i really like that one since i modified it and adde TV Jones classic pickups and a titanium custom bridge ..new wiring strap locks..and well its a sweet guitar even though its no expensive guitar from start…anyway the gretsch is great for rockabilly and jazz stuff…however lately I'm becoming more and more a Fender fan…owns a stratocaster classic 50s player and also a BluesDeLuxe amp and a mustang floor multi effect so Fender is growing on me and this thin line look so great…

Does anyone here had any chance to try one out??and if so how is it??
In general is the thin line a good guitar for jazz and a little fingerpicking??
since its sort of a semi hollow however rather small in its body…
best regards micael
