I may have used the wrong term here.. But hope everyone understand what is.

I have a American special, which I like to play more often than my other guitars. However, when playing with the Marshall SS amp, MG100fx, the squeal feedback is unbearable, whenever I put a bit of gain, for eg on OD or Distortion. I have tried bypassing all my pedals, and only use the amp OD, but still it's there. The gain has to be set very low, like at 3 out of 12. Anything higher, nothing but noise. I tried putting the amp EQ, all at 0 (or is minus?), but that doesnt help either. At home I use Boss eband js8, and I do not have such problem. So, I end up bringing my other guitar for my jamming session. My friend who has MIM tele do not have such problem.

I am leaning to think that my guitar doesn't suit SS amp. However I am not really sure.

Any thoughts?

I'm presuming the squeal is coming from the bridge pickup where your problem is quite common and easily correctable as any one or combination of the following is the culprit. I've placed them in order of likelihood:

1. The metal base plate on the bottom of your bridge pickup is loose and vibrating.
2. The bridge pickup itself is loose and vibrating off the bridge mounting plate.
3. The windings inside your pickup are loose and vibrating.

Remedy for #1 is to melt some wax or inject something like a silicone sealant in between the bottom of your pickup and the base plate, thus firming up the mating of the two.
Remedy for #2 is to remove any metal springs, replacing them with adequate length surgical tubing, thus ensuring that the pickup is firmly mounted to the bridge plate.
Remedy for #3 is to have your entire pickup repotted (immersed in a wax bath) to tighten the coil up.

I'm wondering if you've tried using an alternative cable from your guitar jack to your pedals. Meaning is your problem actually static rather than feedback.

Thanks all. I am really not DIY or a techie guy about guitar. So, I will send to a guitar tech.

I did try changing the cable, and that didn't fix it.

You're welcome. Changing cables will not fix microphonic feedback which is what your problem is.
