Post subject: What Pickups in this MIJ top loader ?

So the neck pocket says TL-354 and its a MIJ fender (not squier but probably the same specs as one)

anyone have a guess what magnets are used for the pickups in this guitar ? I am thinking of switching to Alnico II. Why ? Because I am curious to see the difference.

somewhere buried in that "show me your telecaster" thread is a 60's (or early 70's) Fender telecaster that is a top loader...

update... its page 46 of that huge thread... and its a 1962 model..

Just confirmed that these are alnico 5 magnets...
