so i am working on my old guitar, its pretty beat up it was actually called at one point "vintage junk" i beg to differ, i have wanted to redo this piece for a while but now im on the track of beginning to do so, it is a 72 custom telecaster (mid to late 70's issue) basically what im doing is ripping out the saddle bridge pickup and old humbucker and putting new ones (gibson humbuckers) which is gonna take some custom work on the bridge (fitting the hole to my means) i saw a saddle bridge piece online which is chrome made for a humbucker, it is chrome, now since the humbucker is chromed also would that cause any sort of interference? a tinny sound? if so should i just stick with purchasing a 3 saddle short bridge?
