I think they are a terrific Telecaster. A great combo of vintage and modern. I have seen them sell on Ebay for $900 to $1800!!!!! They don't come available too often. The average price though is around $1400. I'm chasing a black one with a maple neck.

I have a pdf. of the specs from the 1997 Frontline catalog, which I can't post up but could email you.

I think the tone is richer and rounder than a MIM '69 RI but it will still twang. The neck seems like a flat wide "C".

The fave of my bunch is the 3TSB with the maple neck. I picked it up used and it was nicely broken in. The neck p/up in it just died, so I need to get a rewind or a replacement. Thinking about a set of Don Mare p/ups.

Bottom line for me is this is a great telecaster.
