I need to know how much it would cost to build a Telecaster American Standard in Lake Placid Blue with standard specifications, since it isn't currently available?

Thanks!

The American Standard Telecaster is not currently available in Lake Placid Blue.

Well, an american standard tele on ebay is around the $700 US. Then a replacement body from warmoth is around the $285 mark. you take the parts off the old one and onto the new one, and you're looking at Sub $1000 (not including shipping).

Although you now have a Parts-o-caster, not a straight up american standard tele. Does that matter, not to me it dont.

Hope that helps

I would just get an American Standard Tele, and have it refinished/repainted to the color that you like. Cost wise, not sure how much that would be there.

That made em in LPB in 1999, why not try and find a second hand one?

Just order yourself a Masterbuilt from the Custom Shop. It will only take about a year to get it and cost about $5,000.

Or just do what the others suggest.

Hmm, this doesn't say Lake Placid Blue, but it looks like it to me. And it's from '99, so maybe it is: http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-USA-Standard ... 259wt_1307

You could always have one refinished in the color of your choice by your local luthier.

Is that guitar you're looking for?

Custom Classics are officially discontinued since 2009 but they're actually available at customer's request.

Costs a bit more than an American Standard.
