I've recently purchased a used 2006 '72 Tele Deluxe RI. The pickguard was horribly damaged so upon replacing it, I was able to take a peak at the internal wiring and realized how chaotic it looks in there. I've decided to rewire the whole thing.

I am also getting some small distortion on clean settings so perhaps it might be a good idea to replace all the wires, pots, pickup selectors, and capacitors with brand new ones.

I have basic soldering skills and have access to a whole tool shed. I'm just having trouble finding the correct replacement parts.

I've listed links to the replacement parts I plan on using and was wondering if anyone could go over them with me in case I've chosen the wrong parts? Unfortunately I'm not familiar with measurements.

Here it goes:

Internal Wiring that will be used:
http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Supplies:_Wire,_cables/Shielded_Guitar_Circuit_Wire.html

Replacement 500k Pots (Vol and Tone):
http://www.allparts.com/CTS-500K-Solid-Shaft-Audio-Pot-p/ep-0886-000.htm?CartID=1

Capacitor:

Toggle Switch:
http://www.allparts.com/Right-Angle-Toggle-Switch-p/ep-0065-000.htm

If anyone has any suggestions to alternative parts or even modifications, I would love to hear them!

I've also searched online for some wiring diagrams, here is what I could find:

I'd substitute the right angle toggle you've selected with this Switchcraft one:

I'd also get this Switchcraft output jack if your guitar has anything other than this:
