For any of you who happen to have a Nashville Tele, with the 5-way strat switch, I'm assuming there's no neck-bridge pickup combination. Would I be correct in assuming this, or is position 3 not the middle strat pick-up like I would assume and is actually a neck-bridge combo?

Could someone list the pickups selected in each position? I'm buying one very soon (I hope) but am wondering if the classic Tele combination is possible, or if I have to add a switch or something to make this combo a reality.

The Nashville tele as far as I know is set up like a strat, the same switching and everything. So no, there is no neck-bridge option.

My favorite set up is the classic tele switching with a volume pot added for the middle pickup to make it a blend. You can have bridge, neck, bridge+neck (which is a classic tele sound you lose with the nasville tele) and for any of those positions you can blend the middle pickup in with the extra volume pot. Kinda like Brent Masons valley arts tele, but I don't think even he can choose neck+bridge.

Just add a push/pull volume pot for the bridge on switch. It worked well in my Strat.

I don't mind the missing combination. I bought it knowing that and I don't think I'll ever change it. I'm a Tele fanatic, so the mid pickup fills that Strat void to a certain point. I'll pick up a proper Tele for the need for those classic Tele tones.

You can also wire it like a Nashville B bender Tele. It will eliminate the middle only setting but you will gain neck/bridge in the number 3 switch position without altering apearance.

When I built mine, I basically wanted a strat in a tele body, so kept it like a strat. no bridge/neck combo, I have my other teles for that. Now down, the road, that may be another story. Might be fun to have that combo
