Hi there everyone.

A few weeks ago i had to remove the pick guard from my MIM Standard Tele.
The neck pick up is attatched to the pick guard.
Two screws and two small pieces of rubber tube are used to fix it in place and adjust it.
I lost one of the screws.
I went on ebay and bought a small bag of genuine Fender replacement Tele pick up screws.
I bought these from a dealer in the USA.
They are the correct thread and the head is the same. Its just the length thats not.
The length of the thresd on the original screws was 22mm.
The length of the thread on the new screws is 15mm.
There only just long enough.
My pick ups back on, in place and working fine but does anyone know where to get the correct length ones from?
I'd be interested and would like to change them to the longer ones.

You should be able to go to a local hardware store and find the right size if the have assorted nuts and bolts in bins. Most have a huge assortment of metric and sae sizes. Take one with you and find a nut that fits first then you'll know what thread size you need
