So, I went to my local music store and asked if I could trade in my MIM Precision Bass for a Telecaster... long story short I ended up leaving with the Telecaster in a deluxe gig bag and $40 in hand  Couldn't be any happier with the guitar right now, everytime I strum a chord just this sense of awe comes over me, best sounding electric guitar I've ever had 8)

Welcome to "twang"land,Teles are great guitars and that high treble tone can cut through any mix in a band situation.Congrats and enjoy your Tele-in fact I know that you will.

So i finally got around to taking some pics, sorry for sizing, i'm bad at uploading pics onto forums. Got to Jam with it in Jazz and Punk-Rock settings, my bandmates were blown away by it :D Anyways, when I tune down a half-step the b-string buzzes at the nut... being someone who constantly changes between half step down and standard is there a string gauge or a way to set it up so there's no buzzing in either tuning?

I"m getting a J Mascis vibe from that Strap and color choice. Am I correct? I got one just like it last months, its the best guitar! I don't know about the buzz. My thinking is that you may need to tighten the trussrod a tad. I'm replacing a lot on mine including the nut simply for the fact that it can be upgraded to better not because I'm having problems with it.

Conrats! I love LPB. I wonder why Fender doesn't have a MIA in LPB.
