Very, very nice. Now you have something that took a little money, a little work, and worth 10x that in memories, buying and rebuilding. Now think of how you will love to pick it up and play it! It will always be something special to you. Well done!

I got a replacement bridge for the toploader and a set of rails pickups from GFS.

Great looking Tele, Kong. Like you, I love fixing old guitars from craigslist and I have a couple projects going right now.

One of them is a non-Fender body of unknown manufacture but has what appears to the the same three toploader holes in the body as yours. If you ever get a chance, would you mind measuring the distance between the outside holes? Center-of-hole to center-of-hole would probably be best. I'd like to know if GFS bridge will fit on mine. If not, and if I have to drill anyway, I'll probably use a different bridge, but it would be nice if I could just bolt on the same kind you have.

Thanks!

George, it looks like 66mm on center for the outside holes. Baby is sleeping nearby so had to check in low light conditions. Will confirm for you tomorrow. :D

Kong, no need for a more accurate measurement - 66 mm looks right on mine, so I'll be ordering two GFS bridges.

THANK YOU for taking the time to check for me! I really appreciate your help.

Here's why I asked:
