I am buying a Telecaster but this is not like any Telecaster I've ever seen. I need help identifying it. It has the name "Fender" inlaid in the headstock and a one piece neck (no bolt on). It has two humbuckers and two single coil pick ups which are probably after market replacements. It has a serial number on the back of the headstock but no model number. The serial number starts with 0607. It has no pick guard and is a zebra stripe in a deep red wine color. Anyone know what kind of Tele this is? Oh yes, it said "Made in Korea" under the serial #. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, pictures of the guitar would be immensely helpful in a case like this with closeups of the bridge, the tuners-front and back, the back of the headstock the neck/body join and full pictures of the front and back.I'll look through my Fender related material in the meantime to see if I can find anything like the guitar you described.

Those are some really nice pickups. Also, it has jumbo frets.

It plays nice. Very light weight and well balanced. All I've done is adjust the intonation on the "G" string. Very easy to finger. I think it has 10's on it which are a little heavy but I'm told it gets rid of some of the "twanginess". Depends on what kind of music you're playing I guess. I do mostly rock. The pick ups really rock and I like that pull switch on the tone knob that lets you go to single coil. Makes it sound more like a strat while the other way it sounds more like a Les Paul. I REALLY like the versatility. I really am loving this guitar and I think it's gonna be a keeper for sure.
