i purchased a Am Stand strat two years ago. I played that guitar everyday and like it very much. I purchased a Am Stand Tele about two weeks ago. I love my tele. This guitar feels comfortable and for some reason I feel more casual on the tele allowing me to just go with the flow and for some reason I seem to hit the timing and notes naturally.
I just picked up my strat again an hour ago and I love my strat but i can say that :P the tele is now my first choice

I just purchased my first tele and I feel inspired to play better. It must be the mystique of the Tele. It became my number one guitar within a couple of days after purchase. Enjoy!

The Tele is a love it or hate it guitar. I know lots of people who greatly dislike Telecasters. I love mine.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Nope. It's just not a sound that appeals to everyone. Some people also dislike the looks of a Tele. I happen to think the Tele is one of the best looking guitars out there but not everyone thinks so. Also The Tele can be less forgiving and can expose the mistakes you make which can dissuade many buyers.

I myself prefer Strats over Teles. I own both and do enjoy my Tele but the Strat (In my opinion) is the pinacle of guitar design. I have however found that Tele's are a bit more forgiving. If you mess up on a Strat it's painfully obvious, not quite so much with at Tele. There's my 2 cents lads!
