I recently borrowed a MIJ tele off a mate. I was really impressed with how easy it was to play, as it suited my sloppy playing style. However the treble and twang is not really the sound I like, prefering LP's beefier sound.

...So I my master plan is to buy a MIM tele, and put a humbucker in it. I know there are several tele's that you can buy like this but none of them I like.
I play hardcore so I like a nice beefy, bassy palm mute sound. without to much bass in the overall sound. Obviously through fairly high distrtion.

A recording of my bands stuff here: http://music.theinciders.com/
is the sort of sound im after (sorry, not a plug)

Any advice on a humbucker that might suit my needs would be greatly appreciated. Also seen the GOTOH GTC301 bridge for £60, but also seen ones for 10 queens heads. The gotoh worth the ££££?
