just finished the second coat and took some more pictures, including pictures of more than just the body

at the end I also included my favorite pedal, i've had it for about two months and prefer it over my fulltone rto (ocd), big muff pi, and any other od pedal i've ever played or heard. if you like od pedals check it out sometime!

Looks like a great work of natural art. Looking at the beautiful pattern of the wood makes me want to glide my hand across the smooth finish.

Can't wait to see the finished product!

finished designing the headstock decal......

the more I think about it, I will probably end up changing the color of all the lettering to a very dark brown

haha maybe were all blown away, that wood looks amazing, the whole guitar looks great. but the way the wood grain fades through various colours is mega.

Gorgeous guitar man! Must be feeling a lot of pride over building such a beauty! I am fairly new to guitars and playing (year and a half) but I do think that wood does contribute to tone on solid bodies. My Yamaha 720 AES is all mahogany and it has a nice dark tone compared to my maple capped Les Paul which is brighter imo. I know that the pups are different (Dimarzio's vs. Gibson)but I have heard from several good players that wood does contribute to tone and I agree....just my 2 cents. Awesome cedar body btw!
