really torn between a roadworn tele and a Classic vibe tele and perhaps a mexi strat for the same money give or take, the CV's are really nice, any thoughts on the R/W teles would be appreciated (talking 50's models here)

Thanks,

thanks, yes the blonde tele looks very nice, have played this one and the LP Blue strat, lovely finish on both, already have a light metallic blue SG so dont really need another blue guitar me thinks, leaning more and more towards the CV Tele.

I own both and to be honest the RW is a much better guitar in fit finish and sound IMO. I adsolutely love my RW Tele. I have it in the burst and can not put that guitar down. It has fast become my number one!
ABS :D

the RW's are cool if you like a fat neck ...they are at the fatter end as far as fender necks go .....big difference in $ between a road worn and a classic vibe ....the vibe is a hot guitar for the price!

I prefer the RW and it feels really great to play!

Although the CV series aregreat guitars I thought the Road worn I played was superb so if I can afford it ,thats the one I would buy .I did have a Classic Vibe Custom and thats a good guitar. you cant rteally go wrong with either .

Go with a Road Worn Tele and you won't regret it.

Get a RW and try to have it not worn so you can wear it down yourself. True vintage is always so much better.
