I've played this at double the speed for my friends on a Strat. Never lost my tuning. They called me a an idiot because it wasn't a Metallica cover or some $@!&. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAqeA5Hc ... re=related

But the amp was kinda old and crappy. Gives me an opportunity to buy some sort of compact Marshall though. Everything was in perfect working order up until *KABOOM**static* *turns off* I'll just put it on eBay, because someone will buy it and part it out.

I'm considering getting a new body. They previous owner drilled new holes for the bridge and moved it slightly forward, to their liking. It doesn't effect they play, it just makes the strings look slightly off center and I'm sort of a neat freak with that type of thing.

I'll then get either a "PAT PEND" brass barrel bridge or a 6 saddle. If I get the 6 saddle, I'll use the custom saddles off of my Strat that I have collecting dust.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAiNry7GLIo Aslo, this little Tele handled this song pretty well.

I've decided on what I'm going to do.

Kluson Deluxe, Brass barrel bridge. When my birthday comes, it leaves me enough to get a new practice amp, maybe even another guitar. (If I'm that lucky) I'm considering a Teisco.

mate, dont give up on this one yet! all you need is some tuners. if you parted out your old guitar to mates, the LEAST they could do is scrounge some tuners together for you. It doesn''t look to me like there are that many problems with this one. Is the bridge really off? how/why did the guy move it? can you move it back?

As far as amps go, check out those Marshall Haze's. Bang for buck those things are pretty good.
