Hi All

I have been looking at Thinline Tele's for a while now and was not to impressed with the prices, the Mexican 69 & $72 models are well over £700 & £800 here in the UK and the recently released Vintage models start around £1400 and upwards.

I then came acroos a Modern Thinline from the Telebration range at a very appealing £1307 so i took the plunge and I must say I am not disappointed it is beautiful. It has taken a bit of getting used to the lightweight compared to my other Tele's but it is stunning. Anyway here are some pics of my new acquisition:

I think Fender forgot to add a variant of the Modern Telebration Thinline with a pair of Enforcer humbuckers and an S1 switch to complement the actual guitar.

Beautiful guitar. I'll bet it sounds just as sweet. I love the light weight of my thinline. When I want to move around the house and have a guitar with me, that's the one I grab.

Congrats on your new arrival. Out of interest did you see it in a shop or buy via the net?

Are these Fender/Schaller locking tuners? If yes, you shouldn't have to wrap the string around the stringpost.

Cheers

Hi guys

Thanks for the kind word re my new telebration thinline RJ as it has been named. In answer some comments :

sjlen - I go it off the net, I had tried to fnd a local shop that had it in stock but to no avail these things are rare!!

Amerigo - They are the regular deluxe staggered cast/sealed tuners not he lovking ones

and finally to r0de0 yes the plastic is still on the pickguard i usually wait till they vstart to peel before removing them.

Heh, I do that too! It gives you a sense of newness when you get around to peeling it off!
Cheers!
