Is the S-1 volume knob on the Baja the same quality as one on a CS Deluxe model?

Thanks,

I presume you mean the switch/pot mechanism.

In a direct answer to your question, yes. Bear in mind though that it has been (supposedly) improved so there's an old style one and a new style one.

The old style:

The new style:

Thanks for the links, but I am actually referring to the knob.

I bought a Baja and the knob itself just feels so "plasticy" and I thought perhaps the CS Deluxe knobs were metal instead. Perhaps this sounds foolish .... the knob is functional but it just doesn't feel right. I'd like something with a little heft to it.

Admittedly, I've never A/B'd them and surely I could be wrong but based on what I've seen over the years, I doubt that there would be any difference between the two.
