I posted some pics of this guitar that followed me home last night in the "obscure tele" thread. I wanted to start a separate thread because Fender sent me the spec sheet and there's a couple items that stand out about this guitar.
Mahogany Body / Set Mahogany neck / 15.75" fret board radius / Jumbo fret wires / Pearly Gates Humbucker PUPS / Coil Splitter push pull switch / Narrow 41.3" nut / 25.5" scale length.
It's really very different than my other tele or my strat, and I like it because of that. The fret board is even flatter than an LP. I'm starting to like the jumbo frets which don't feel like road bumps the way they felt on other guitars I've played. The coil spit humbuckers are real nice. I can get everything from the twangy tele sound to a full B. B. King blues sound. All in all an interesting guitar and very nice quality even without considering the price.

Those sound good and has a Gibson like tone also. Kind of like a Fender meets Gibson guitar.

They're great guitars. I have a spalted maple version. Sort of a sleeper in the Fender family, and going for stupid low prices used. The quality is excellent, they're made in the same factories that make Cort and Schecter guitars. Mine is one of the early runs made in Korea before production moved to Indonesia. Enjoy!

I've got the red mahogany model - also one of the early Korean-made guitars. It's a very sweet guitar and one that I usually take with me when I am playing out. Now that I have dug out a picture, though, I see that it has cream colored pickups to go with the binding. I bought mine new when they first came out and I love it.

Very nice. You've got a little Tele frenzy going on there. This one is also Korean. One of the changes was from chrome hardware to black chrome, which mine has. Maybe that's when they changed to the black pups too? My friend loaned it to me in hopes I would like it enough to want to keep it. I do.
