Looking for suggestions on a compression pedal that works well with a Tele and Fender tube amps such as: Blues JR., HotRod Deluxe, and Vibro King Custom. Some of the pedals seem to have too much noise with my amps. Most recently I tried a Boss Compression pedal, but still had more noise than I wanted. Any suggestions?

Compressor pedals are great for a tele, especially if your chickin' pickin'.

The best compressor that I've ever heard is a "Keeley", you can find them here: http://www.robertkeeley.com/home.php , their a little pricey, but if your serious about compression, this is the only way to go in my opinion.

I use a MXR Dyna Comp on my fenders, and I love the way it sounds.

I'll throw in a vote for the one I use and love.

The Route 66 comp and overdrive pedal sounds killer with my Tele and my 4x10 Blues Deville.

I have a Boss CS-3 that has the Monte Allums quiet mod. It is dead quiet and works great into my Fender Blues Junior.
Try it for a cheap fix!

I have a 2006 American Deluxe Tele that I play through a HotRod Deville 410 and I use the www.buildyourownclone.com 5 knob compressor, and it sounds magical.

T-REX COMPNOVA - Hand made, don't colour your sound, completely silent. John Mayer uses one every now and then too..
