Post subject: Switch Cap Comes off way to easy

my tele's pickup switch cap comes off really easy on my 2006 USA tele. what can i do to stop this? I lost the original the first day I bought it. I bought replacements but its rediculous how easy they come off.

Your replacemet is it a fender ? I guess not, some cheap import part don't have a same hole . hole,

You can put a silicone in the hole of the knob, very very small drop. or glue. If you have to remove the knob later, sometime if you pull it will remove , but prepare to break it

What I do with loose ones is cut a teeny, tiny piece of double sided tape, like about quarter of an inch long by 1/8th wide, and fold it over the end of the lever. Then push the tip back on and it should stay firm.

I use the same idea as Butterscotch mentioned but sometimes when two sided
tape is not around, I'll fold or roll a piece of scotch tape. Works pretty good.
