This butterscotch 1953 Tele is better known as "Nancy".

"Nancy" was refitted with a rosewood neck a couple of years later.

Guild, which is under FMIC ownership since 1995, has built two Tele-style guitars in the 1980s, the T-200 and T-250, with the latter being endorsed by the man himself.

Buchanan is best known for using the 3-pickup Bluesmaster Telecaster.

The late Beatle George Harrison played a similar guitar during his Japanese tour with Eric Clapton in 1991.

I was lucky enough to see Roy Buchanan and Pat Methany in a double bill at our local uni student center back around 1977,what a night that was,I walked out googy-eyed from watching their hands do their magic.Danny Gatton was the only threat Roy ever had when it came to the Tele.
