A few pics of Reba, my MIM Standard Tele. She's a beautiful "redhead," like Ms. McEntire, thus her name . . .

I went to the dealer to look at a Highway 1 Tele, but fell in love with my MIM after playing her for awhile. Her neck just felt like it belonged in my hands and she sounded great. Even better through my own amp at home!

Super Kid and Riley,it's very encouraging for me to see young fellers such as yourselves picking up the torch and playing guitar-that's great, keep pickin'.MY MIM Tele was a complete surprise for me as I had come home one day and just mentioned to the little woman the beautiful Midnight Wine Tele I had seen at Reid Music.I thought nothing of it until I woke up Christmas morning and there it was on a stand in the bedroom.Apparently she had called Jr. Reid and asked him to put the guitar away for me and since I have bought many guitars and amps from him in the past he did it without question. Both the guitar and my Missus are keepers.I don't have the computer savy yet to post a pick but it's the same as the other Midnight Wine Teles posted already.Except for having Marty Stuart's autograph.

I can't help but chuckle when I hear people talk about buying MIM Teles and swapping out pups, tuners, pots, etc.,they are great right out of the box and to mod them is to gild the lily.

Maybe I never paid much attention before, but I am seriously drawn to these pictures of the red Teles. Very nice if I may say so.

Keep these beautiful MIMs coming!

Great looking quartet!!! :D

Thanks, Mike. The Strummer's far from a looker but it sure does play and sound good. I was never a fan of relic-ed guitars until I picked it up.

very proud of it! i own a 2011 candy apple red telecaster. at first i hated the look of telecasters, then after months of watching videos of eddie vedder play his telecaster, i thought i had to get one. he's just look's so worn and DIYish. and at that stage i was really into humbuckers, an i thought if i could get distortion like a humbucker and a clean tone like a telecaster that'd be kickass. then i saw the blacktop. possibly bets guitar out there IMO, sriously guys if you haven't pick one up.

Hop, John, and Mike, thank you for your kind comments. I'm not the only one with good taste (as you're no doubt aware), anyone who owns a Fender Telecaster has excellent taste imho. This is turning into a cool thread, kudos Tim :D

I can't take too much credit...I stole the idea from the Strat forum. But I agree that this thread is pretty cool. A lot of nice MIMs here!

Contact consumerrelations@fender.com with the serial number, they should be able to help.
