Nice pics Riley! I think I recall seeing those when you first got the Tele. I'm still gassing for a blacktop, just not sure which one.

I really like the Blacktop Jag, with the silver finish. But you know me, and I love Teles! The Jazzmaster looks cool also with the P90 in the neck. Truth be told though, I think I like the Tele best, and definitely like it in Candy Apple Red like yours. But we'll see, I don't think I'll be buying another guitar for a while, but I really do plan to check out the Blacktops when the time comes. I'm really impressed with the Fenders coming out of Mexico these days.

yeah i was about to get a jazzmaster cause of the p 90 in the neck. my uncle reckons black with maple neck would've looked better on tele's.

The reason I got this beauty is she looked so fine. Then I sat down and played her and WOW what a sound I had to have it.I knew I was going to buy a guitar that day,why not a nice one???

Yeah, black and maple is a good look but I already have a Tele with that combo. I like the CAR with maple like yours the best I think.

Super Kid...your link is broken (at least from my end) but I'm assuming you were putting up a pic of the copper burst, which I have seen a few times, and I even had a chance to play one at GC. The guitar played just as nice as it looked. I assume it's the same story with yours as well.

Ha great, :D

main reason for my 72 deluxe...cost and value for money. I just can't afford an american made fender, especially when the cheaper ones at least are probably no better than good MIMs. Surely more of the cost of an american special is labour and tax??? Better value, better guitar must be the good MIMs. :D

I use it on "side loaders" a good bit, i'm almost crippled in my back & have to play sitting most of the time, I don't like barstools so a straight input jack is hard to make work....I also love the "killswitch end" on my Ernie Ball Ultra-Flex cable...so the patch & coupler are my way of connecting LPs & Teles to the Ultraflex, using what I already have on hand.

I have been a Strat player and owner since the late 60s but I never had a Tele until 2005. I started with a Black MIM Standard and the love affair began. Then a Classic Player Baja jumped out of the Fender catalog and into my hands. Yep, Tele GAS took over for a while... after all, I had some catching up to do. I'm sure everyone here understands. :)

So here is a pic of my four sunbathing MIM Teles.
