Did this awhile back but forgot to post it here. It's a hack job but does look pretty good. If you look closely at the neck area you can see it bunched up a little but no big deal. I like it.

As for where I got it. I got the fabric and adhesive at a place called Fabricland. Not sure if they are in the States though. The sales lady asked me what it was for so I told her. She chuckled. And said her son would do the same. she suggested something called Lite Steam A Seam 2. What I did was place it on the sticky side place the paper it comes with over and ironed the fabric to it. Then on the other side peals off and then I fit it over a old pickguard and ironed it. the best thing about the Steam to Seam is it's not permanent until you iron it so you can play around with it to get it to fit.
Been thinking about doing the body now.

Cool looking pickguard! I wouldn't put it on the body as that looks really cool like that, but your guitar, mod it the way you want.

Looks awesome! I agree with T2 that you should leave it like it is, I think it'd be a little much on the whole guitar.
