OK Tele guru's,
I'm a newbie here, so bear with me! I got a Fender Std Tele MIM for Xmas and I must say I am very happy with it and it sounds great. However in the past couple weeks two things have happened. First the A string seems to buzz when played as if it is maybe hitting a fret? I tried moving my finger position and also pushing the string down harder, but it still does it.
The other problem that just started is when you play the B string open or fretted, you get a humming noise coming through the amp that seems to be resonating from the low E string. If I touch the low E the humming stops. I'm more than likely going to take it back to the dealer to be looked at as it probably is just an adjustment problem. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this before? Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thx

If you can take it to where you got it from, it should still be under warranty, and I've have them take a look. The A string issue is probably a simple thing, like adjusting the truss rod or putting on some new strings. The humming may actually be a grounding issue, and once again, if you are new to the guitar, definitely have someone with a little more knowledge and experience look at it. Hopefully your guitar is still under warranty and the dealer you are tkaing to is cool, because these things should be relatively easy, if I diagnosed your problems right that is....

Thanks for your help bowlfreshener, I'll probably take it to the dealer when I get a day off work. I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks again :D
