In my quest for a pickguard for my new tele project I was considering tooled leather as an option but haven't had much luck finding one cut for a neck humbucker. I'm sure one could be custom made but I was wondering if anyone has one or would know where to find one? I'd love to see some pictures...even of single coil leather tele guards. Cheers.

Why don't you get one of these leather pickguards from WD Music.
Then get an exacto knife, and use a humbuckler pickguard as a guide for cutting the leather.
Then get a black Sharpie or Magic Marker and blacken the cut edge.

You could also contact WD Music by telephone (they are the same as pickguard.com).
They may be able to custom cut one or have it custom made for an up-charge.
Pickguard.com (WD Music) does custom cut vinyl plastic pickguards.

thanks for the links guys! There's some pretty cool stuff to be found... I've kinda blown my budget for the build project so have decided to go with a conventional plastic guard but that gives me some great ideas for a future project... and I'm sure they'll be another project at some point! Thanks for taking the time to post all that! Cheers, D
