After setting up my friends 60th anniversary Tele I started looking for one like his.
It has a Z6...... serial # decal and a 60th anniversary silver emblem on the back of the headstock, vintage style pickups, just like an ordinary 60th anniversary Tele, but it has a chrome 3 barrel bridge, with FENDER stamped on it. I have looked around and found a special edition tele produced with 3 brass barresl bridge, but I haven't found any Fender bridges for sale that are 3 barrel chrome.
Does anyone know if Fender put out any 60th Anniversary Telecasters with this kind of bridge?
His does not seem to be modified, should I take the bridge off to check it out? Are there any good ways to identify the guitar?
There is a sticker with a bar code and number stuck on the bottom of the control compartment.
All the 60th Anniversary Telecasters I see for sale have the 6 saddle bridges which I'm sure are fine, but I really like the 3 barrel bridge.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

The guitar has nice tone and really good sustain. Any ideas on how to see what this guitar is?
The neck plate is not stamped and he bought this guitar used in France.

Leonard - some photos would be helpful, but based on the description it is probably a 2006 Highway 1 Telecaster. Fender pretty much put that "60th Anniversary of Fender" emblem on all USA-built production model Fenders in 2006 (possibly excluding the American Vintage series).

The Highway 1 models were updated in mid-to-late 2006 so the specs for the older version isn't around any more. These first versions had the same vintage-style logo as the American Series, blank neck plates, and if I'm remembering correctly they had the Fender vintage bridge with steel saddles instead of the brass saddles found on the 50s-style vintage bridge.

Hope that helps.
