Hi folks! I'm posting this short clip I've just recorded with my new band. I hope you like it and, of course, all your opinions and criticism will be warmly welcome. All the best!

Excellent video!! And a very nice 12 Bar Blues song.
Your lead singer has a great blues voice.
And the video was nicely produced and very polished.

The only slight criticism that I might have is that the video was a little too focused on facial close-ups, and the video editing of your guitar solo could have been a little better. But I've seen much worse video editing in videos from major, premier bands.

My school of thought is that music videos and concert videos should generally reflect the way people actually watch a performance, with close-up, head shots, held to a minimum, and without constant compulsive camera changes, which is very annoying in many videos or concert films from major bands. But do I realize that with short videos, there will necessarily be a greater percentage of close-ups than should be the case with concert films.

Not long ago I bought "U2 360, At the Rose Bowl," blu-ray, because it was cheap on Amazon. While the musical performance is excellent, the constant change of cameras and camera angles, and the focus on the wrong performer at the wrong time, is a complete distraction which is completely unrepresentative of how one naturally views a performance. This disc will get little action in my player due to the poor video direction and/or editing.

I really don't know how a major band like U2 can let a video like "U2, 360" get out the door. As far as concert films go, they all should be filmed like the Rolling Stones Twickenham stadium show on "Four Flicks," which I think is the Stones best concert release.

Sorry if I got off the subject a bit. But maybe it will foster some discussion.
All in all, you did a really really nice job on the song and with your video!!
Good luck!!

Great vid mate, great playing.

Apart from no footage of you playing the solo, I'd say it's great production. Drummer looks like he's having the time of his life :)

loved it, great song. the singer is pretty hot too.
i agree, the only complaint i can off is the video is to "in your face"
and needs to back up a bit on the next video.
good luck and post us up some more as you get them

Nice!!!!! Really enjoyed your playing. What amp did you use to record the song? The video was well done. For all of those saying too many close-ups, all you need is a wide shot of the performance to cut back to in between close-ups. Try it on the next video.

The song rocked, and so did the vocals!
