I have a couple of his CD's and never get tired of them. He and his band are great musicians and how could you not like a song about tics or alchohol or not taking back a woman thats done you wrong? I would like to see them live.I bet it is a great show.

Take a close look at the guitars he plays. Word has it he uses a B bender. I have tickets for Yoakam in Wash. ST next weekend 6/11. Lots of good telecaster sounds in his tunes. Horton

The last time he played in London (at the smaller Shepherd's Bush Empire venue), BP made the front page of the summer 2010 issue of "Guitarist" (UK). There was also an interview with his guitar tech and lots of details about his guitars. Actually, it's G Benders he uses on his Fenders and Crook telecasters.

Funny you should mention that one. It's my least favourite. I do like 'Start a Band' and 'Cluster Pluck' though. I really like his latest album "This Is Country Music"; most of the tracks are catchy and he's put none of the usual filler in it.
