Im somewhat of a beginner at guitar, I found this one on ebay and I don't want to buy a fake one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 1095wt_905

I'd appreciate any feedback, or suggestions for a telecaster to look into.

Thanks,

It looks real to me and I couldn't imagine someone wanting to copy a fender mexican guitar.

Looks legit to me. And if I was in the market for a new guitar I might just put a bid on that.

I had a semi-hollow bodied one, lots of years ago now, and I seem to remember feedback was a problem without the cover for the back pick up.
It looks really pretty !

What's the reason for the "Fender 60" logo on the back of the headstock? Wouldn't a 2006 be a 55 year anniversary? I can see a dealer applying a sticker, but a pawnbroker? That's my only question, other than that it looks pretty legit.

No, that was applied at the factory. 2006 was the "60th Anniversary of Fender" - Leo founded the company in 1946. That sticker was on every production-line USA and MIM Fender made that year (with the possible exception of the American Vintage series - I know they put the "50th Anniversary of Fender" decals on the AVs in 1996, not sure about the "60th" in 2006).
