First couple pics are 40 yrs old (hince the gold carpet..). The others I took today.. Only had the neck off one time many years ago. Pic I took of signature and date has faded over time.

I think that an evaluation by someone like George Gruhn might be advisable if that guitar is all original and as pristine as it looks in the pics!
Have a look at this page. http://www.gbase.com/gear/find?gs=y&key ... r+nocaster There are a few originals among the reissues. There's big variations in price due to condition. Highest priced one advertised for sale in these listings is $75K.

Hi

Its value as others have said is only what the small number of collectors for these instruments are willing to pay. I would get in touch for George Gruhn he is the authority on these instruments, many other rare and valuable guitars of all makes have passed through his hands. He will be able to give you a very educasted valuation.

Here is a link to a '53 tele on ebay UK going for £25k ($35+)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-1953-Telec ... 43a61059f3

If you do get it valued let us know how it goes.
