How is this tele in comparison with the Highway One tele? I definitley like the looks of the Lite Ash over the Highway One, but in terms of sound, which one sounds "better?" I like to play blues mostly, light rock and classic rock, I want it to be twangy and trebly in clean channels and have a very warm trebly tone for light overdrives (think Los Lobos, they're the only Tele group that's coming to my mind right now), yet have a good neck pickup. Other than the sound, is there any major flaws of the two? Thanks for the help!

I've got a Natural Lite Ash and the only other Tele that gave me the sound I was looking for was one of the '50s Classics.
I am very pleased with mine and find it to be very versatle.
It and my '70s Classic Strat are usually my main/favorite guits!
When you take into account, that's out of 16 guits, which includes a Gibby LP, that say a lot. :o [/img]

I'd go for the lite ash - i have one and it's great, especially for blues and rock. 8)

Better pickups, anyway. :|

I've never been a fan of the H1 anythings, though.

A fantastic peace of gear,
I own a Classic White coloured Lite Ash Tele,
and it looks just amazing!

The sound is good, not quite as twangy as the older ones, but I love it, nice, smooth and bassy, superbly tuned, fine intonation ...

and it's weight is a .... relief

I have a 06 american deluxe ash tele with the s1 switch. I love the sweet sounds you can get out of this guitar. It can also be nasty, twangy and blusey.

The s1 in a strat didn't seem to do anything for me...

I think I need to replace the stock tuners. What is recommended for the best fit?

I used these with the bushings that were bought there.

With the bushings, perfect fit and great turn ratio.
Perfect match for my Lite Ash! 8)

I would expect the Fender Kluson style would probably fit well also.
I liked the price on these better and I had used them before. :D
