I'm looking for a mellower or warmer sounding bridge pup for my MIM telecaster. I don't want to say Jazz sound but that more the sound I'm looking for than the trebley stock bridge pup. I play mostly fingerstyle and mainly use the neck pup because of the sound. Anybody have any expericence with the little 59 bridge in a MIM tele. I was thinking the little 59 might tame the bridge sound just a little bit and allow me to use both pups a little more.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tony

Not in a MIM, but in my American Standard. It is in the bridge position. I pretty much favoured the bridge setting in most giggng and jam situations. It cut thorugh the mix pretty good. It's hot and beefed up but you still hear that tele twang. Sounds great on the drive setting. I have had this pickup in my tele for years.
