Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum!
Well guys i've been fan of fender since i started playing 8 years ago; my playing has improved lots since i started. I'm looking forward to buy a new guitar maybe a telecaster, i like the deluxe nashville tele, and recently the road worn players tele which i find very versatile because the sd59' and the tex-mex. i would like to get feedback of the road worn tele prior to buy it (yes, i'll play it before i buy it) i'm into country music, pop rock and jazzy stuff; and it's going to get hooked to a boss ds1 distortion, a behnringer comp and digital dly and then to my mustang 2, this rig is for rehearsing. so i guess i can get a nice country twang sound but also a nice clean warm sound for jazz and a edgy rock pop.

so...the road worn player's tele could be an option for me or do i better get the nashville's tele? this will be my first Fender!!!

Unless you are a pro on stage, I would forget the road worn look. Guys like you and me just come off like some clown that left his guitar in the back of the pickup while the girlfriend drove it all winter while we were in rehab. No...seriously, it's all a matter of what suits you as long as it's a Fender.

Why all the effects pedals if you are plugging into a Mustang, especially for country?

The Mustangs have a great compressor available, and not only does the amp modeling have gain, but you can add stomp boxes or rack effects.
