Great job Mick, such a lovely guitar,I hope she sounds as good as she looks.BTWdon't sweat the nay-sayers that run off at the mouth with verbal flatulence after all,the only thing you're gonna get from an arsehole is shite anyway.BTW DHD:It would behoove you to look into the Stratocaster section and read the thread entitled"What the hell happened to......"it may give you some food for thought before you make another unprovoked verbal assault on someone else.

May be for "storage" of large amounts of data.
I haven't paid a nickel for anything there. I have maybe... 4 dozen pics there...

Haven't had pop-up issues either but to each their own....

What's wrong with a map? I use mine all the time!
My kids don't but hey all it takes is one time that their GPS sends them to New York instead of York, Maine....

It seems the Mitey Mite bodies are just a tad off and it also seems like it may be on purpose. Could it be the 10% rule ?-- that's kind of the Urban Legend thing that I've heard about since I was a teenager. If you change something 10% it's okay to copy it. And to further the deal - Fender tells MM they have to change the bodies a certain percentage and then it's okay to copy them (liscenced). I hope someone blows me out of the water on that. I've never believed that 100% anyway. I'm not into conspiracy theories unless something just reaches out and smacks me in the face! HA!

Fender does not license aftermarket bodies, only the necks.

http://www.tdpri.com/forum/telecaster-d ... es%2A.html

Most after-market Telecaster bodies seem to have a different routing for the neck pickup wires than is used by Fender, perhaps just as a legally protective change. Mighty Mite uses a drill extending from the neck pocket, through the neck pickup routing, to the control routing to create a wire run pocket, and then they plug the neck pocket area with a dowel.

I think that the control routing 1/16" - 3/32" error is just a mistake in the setup of what ever type of routing machine or jig that they are using to route these guitar bodies.

I would like to post pics. You would like my Flamecaster. It looks like a relative of your Tele 83. However to be honest, I do not have a credit card. Never have had one except for a gas card back in the 80's. Guess what? I have never had any credit card problems either! So I'm not on the photobucket thing. I haven't found a free site etc, etc, excuses, excuses I know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

No credit card is necessary on Photobucket.com.
It is a completely free Internet service with no strings attached.
You register your email information, just as you did to get onto the Fender Lounge.
No spam to worry about either.

Thanks Guitslinger for your kind comments and support.
It plays great. The action is nice and low with no fret buzz.
I'm a big fan of the SCN Noiseless pickups.
With the grounded copper shielding and the "ground star" wiring, the guitar is dead quiet.
