I happened over to the Kinman web site and got excited looking and listening to the Tele Broadcaster and 60's pups they have for sale. Not sure I'll get them but...

Prices are high but I'm looking for feedback on these pups and which version you may have picked and why?

I'm partial to the 60s set but do like the Broadcasters too! Wish it was more black/white in determining which sound best.. :? Seems most folks like the Broadcasters.

You're absolutely right. Kinman pups are pricey. They also take a while to arrive. The web site doesn't tell you but they are in Australia even though the prices are in $$USA. I have not yet tried any Kinmans for the Tele but even if they're only half as good as their Strat pups you will love them. I've tried quite a few stacked buckers in my Strats and none of the ones I tried come as close to real single coil sound as the Kinmans.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I have the broadcasters in my Tele. Worth every penny. They are very versatile and can growl when you need them to then sparkle and twang when you need them to. They are the only pups I will use in a Tele until I find something better.

Somebody posted a website : guitarfetish.com. I ordered a set of pups for a cheap Tele I have and they shoud be delivered today. Price was around $65 for both of them and they sound decent. You can hear how they sound on your media player or quicktime player so you can make a choice. Its worth checking out before spending a lot of money with another company.
